Feed yourself and your family well without the overwhelm.

  • You want to eat well, but you just can’t be bothered to count calories or measure food.

  • You want a “plan” but every plan out there seems to assume you have hours a day to prep the food and that your kids will eat everything you put in front of them.

  • You know your body is changing as the years go by and your “willpower” seems to be fading as each birthday passes.

  • I see you, cooking up another package of KD, feeling like you are failing once again at getting healthy food on the table.

Here’s the thing:

Yes you need skills, structures and systems in place to eat well.

But you do not need a pre-planned, pre-portioned and pre-calorie counted plan.

Those plans don’t consider everything you have on your “plate” (pun totally intended): work, lack of sleep, how much you move your body or rushed dinners.

The lack of flexibility leaves you floundering by week 2 and the constant obsession with low-fat and low-calories leads to low-taste that no one one wants to eat.

You CAN:

  • feel like you have meals planned and prepped for your family without spending your entire Sunday in the kitchen

  • eat healthy and have treats

  • cook one meal for the whole family, no more separate low calorie meals for Mom

  • teach and model a positive relationship with food for your kids

  • learn how to stop fighting against yourself and ‘lack of willpower’

  • create balanced meals without giving up your family’s favourite meals

  • understand how everything else going on in your body (aging, sleep, stress) will impact what you need to eat

  • realize that HOW you eat is often a bigger deal than what you eat

The diet industry continues to perpetuate the idea that we just need willpower to be healthy and that the constant goal should be to get smaller.

But constantly trying to eat less and move more forever leads to one thing, burnout. The opposite of health.

We’ve been fed so many wrong messages about food that it’s impossible to sort out the truth.  As a mom I know feeding yourself and your family well is important to you, but the energy and time to do that seems impossible. We need simple but actual truths around food that we can implement and teach our children.

I hear you because I’ve been there.  I don’t have time, space or the energy to care about counting calories or points either.  I have the training and experience to help you find out what actually matters when it comes to food and feeding your family well.

Prioritizing your health, still eating treats, feeling confident that you are doing the things that actually matter in feeding yourself and your family well.

These are things that you will doing in our time together (and after!)

No more:

  • Prepping snacks and meals for your kids and then eating their soggy leftovers and goldfish crackers standing up by the sink for your “meal”.

  • Starting the day with the best of intentions but by 3 pm finding yourself in the pantry eating chocolate chips by the handful.

  • Telling yourself you will stop snacking after dinner, but crushing an entire bag of chips as you sink into the couch after an exhausting day.

"Kaye's methods of assessment, questioning, and support are thorough and holistic. I felt comfortable sharing concerns that are private and intimate in nature because Kaye finds the perfect balance between being professional and personal.

Kaye helped me understand my own unique body; how it's functioning now, how I can make simple changes to optimize how I feel and how I move on a day-to-day, moment-to-moment basis, and how I can feel more comfortable in my own skin!

She helped me set realistic goals, gave me multiple options to consider for the way my coaching and fitness would unfold, and bottom line; I learned a lot!  I'm truly looking forward to continuing this healing journey with her!”

FAQs

So, do I get a meal plan?

You get the skills to make your own plans, yes. I promise to walk you through a step-by-step process to help you plan meals, buy groceries and get healthy meals on the table. You will also learn how to throw together a nutritionally balanced meal with whatever you have in the fridge and pantry on those days where we need Plan B.

But NO to 1200 calorie rigid meal plans that aren’t designed for YOU, your day, your stress, your sleep, your movement and your family. Nope, none of that.

Will I lose weight if I join Core Food?

Maybe.  Maybe not.  I love what healthy eating, movement and exercise can do for us physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. It truly is powerful, in my opinion.  If your body needs to lose weight, it likely will.  If it doesn’t, it likely won’t. I will talk you through this in detail from the beginning, promise.

How long is Core Food?

Each round is 16 weeks.  We have a lot of cover and I want to give you enough time to make actual sustainable changes with the support of your coach and the group. Also, I don’t want you to feel like you are drinking from a fire hose, so we are going to do short and sweet lessons, small manageable habits and changes, and slow and steady progress over the 12 weeks. Not always exciting, but always the most successful way to get real progress.

Why learn from me?

I’m a certified expert in women’s core/pelvic floor, nutrition, hormones and exercise. More importantly, it is really really important to me that you feel supported as you pursue your own health journey, whether you are just getting started or really want to hit the next level. I have multiple certifications in women’s health and am a Precision Nutrition Certified Level 1 Coach.   We will simplify food and help you to nourish your body and family.  And I promise I won’t just tell you to “listen to your body”, I will help you learn how to actually do it.
